In a context in which societies are becoming increasingly multicultural as a result of global mobility, it is essential that justice acquires the knowledge of anthropology, the science that studies human cultural diversity.
This site is aimed at supporting the judicial system in achieving greater awareness of the "cultural motivations" of certain behaviors.
Since a judge often finds themselves required to identify and decipher cultural elements independently, without adequate anthropological support, this site intends to encourage a dialogue between law and anthropology for the resolution of cases with the additional aim of optimizing procedural timing for a more rapid identification of the possible relevance of cultural aspects to take into consideration.
The site is offered for judges, lawyers and all those who are, in various capacities, involved in the legal system – particularly criminal, civil and juvenile.
